With over two decades of experience in the film & TV industry, Rehina Pereira is an award-winning executive producer and entrepreneur. Having established Verite Productions in Singapore in 2000, she has produced several high-profile projects across the region, and also serves as a panelist and jury member of international festivals.
A former journalist / writer with a Bachelors' Degree in Science, a Masters' Degree in Communication Studies, and a Diploma in Film Production from the New York Film Academy, Rehina has produced both scripted and documentary content. She specialises in print-to-screen adaptations (and other IP) for television. Rehina conceptualises ideas and brings them to screen - backing these projects up with strong research, top-notch project management and budgeting, all to deliver with a premium on quality.
For 23 years now, Rehina has run Verite Productions, and leads a team of eclectic writers, directors and technical crew to produce premium content in different genres. As the Executive Producer, Rehina oversees the production of content for television, OTT platforms as well as corporate clients.
As a showrunner, Rehina's greatest skill is her ability to create and develop engaging stories for audiences around the globe and manage well-researched, high-quality productions within budgets and deadlines.
Outside work, Rehina is a passionate campaigner for women and children's rights. In January 2020, she completed a 55km walk to raise funds for children with developmental challenges.
