Jack Pochop is a writer and director working on independent productions. Notable milestones include his screenplay adaptation of Comix Zone (video game), which was a quarterfinalist in the 2021 ScreenCraft Action & Adventure Screenplay Competition, and his original short film, The Game, which won Best Children's Short at the Lost Angeles IndieX Film Festival Annual Awards (2020).
His work has been screened at Chicago Comic Con, written about in the A.V. Club, and screened at select theaters in Chicago, IL, and Los Angeles, CA. Upcoming projects include Poinsettia Tears (2025) and The Verge of 3D (2025), a documentary about legendary SEGA designer Yu Suzuki's influence on the early 3D video game landscape.
