There was also a TV pilot produced that showed up on TV just once. For a show with such an outlandish premise, it was very well done, with sharp writing. There is virtually no trace of the pilot anywhere on the web.

I was there, Charlie!

I remember Nuts and Bolts. It was a great concept I really wanted to see go to series. First of all it was a chance to be around one of my TV heroines Eve Arden! Rich Little was absolutely amazing, and I was thrilled to be on a show with William Daniels from Broadway's 1776 fame. He played a life-size curmudgeonly manservant type robot. Another robot was a little person in a costume and then there was a third robot that was like a remote controlled Roomba vacuum cleaner or something. I was the sound mixer on that pilot, It was taped at the Sunset Gower Studios for ABC on the same stage that we did Soap on, and I would love to see it again.
