Many a porn film has used the gimmick of sexy radio broadcaster as its launch point, but I can't recall one as effective as Anjali Kara's RADIO EROTICA. It's one of my favorites among her XXX videos that I've seen so far.

Zalman King's WOMEN OF THE NIGHT was the worst use of this format, his awful movie recommended for the most masochistic of film buffs only. By contrast, Porcha Sins as late-night show host on the title radio station 101.2 is not just a stimulating voice, but for segment 3 of 5 erotic vignettes she masturbates topless (us video fans get to see her, rather than being just a disembodied voice on the radio) and is a complete turn-on.

She reads letters or emails from women setting up each segment, the women happening to have the same names as the actresses we watch. Each vignette is stimulating, but my favorites featured blondes: Xena Clark and huge-breasted Michelle Thorne. All five gals are paired with big-dick British actors, and the dreamy music gives way to direct-sound moans of passion late in each episode.

A cute in-joke has Porcha mentioning director Anjali Kara in the studio with her several times in her patter - I wish the former actress from India had made an appearance, but as in her other daring! media videos she remains strictly behind the camera.

Fans of gonzo porn, as well as the pornographers themselves, should watch RADIO EROTICA as an object lesson as to how one can make non-narrative sex films interesting.
