Reseña destacada
Watching this movie was like being strapped into a never-ending carnival ride, loud, flashy, and undeniably energetic, but also exhausting and, frankly, forgettable. I'll admit, the production value stands out. The sets are polished, the cinematography is slick, and there's a certain larger-than-life quality that initially hooks you. Entertainment value is there in bursts, especially if you're looking for some mindless action to pass the time. Allu Arjun's screen presence is, as always, electrifying, and he carries much of the film on his shoulders.
But no amount of charisma can mask the glaring issues with this one. The script feels like it was pulled straight from a bargain bin of outdated clichés. Every plot point is painfully predictable, and the dialogue rarely rises above generic, often bordering on cringe-worthy. It's not just derivative; it's unimaginative, recycling the same tropes we've seen a hundred times before without any effort to elevate them.
The direction doesn't do the film any favors either. Scenes are clumsily stitched together, and the pacing is erratic. Just as I felt the story might be going somewhere, I'd be yanked out of it by yet another over-the-top action sequence or worse an unnecessary item song. The sheer number of these musical interruptions felt excessive, breaking whatever flow the narrative was trying to build. They're flashy, sure, but after the third or fourth one, I was more annoyed than entertained.
Then there's the villain, who's written so lazily that it's hard to take him seriously. He's less of a character and more of a caricature, complete with ridiculous motives and even more absurd decision-making. It's impossible to feel any genuine tension when the antagonist behaves like a cartoon villain with no real menace or depth.
And speaking of cartoons, the fight choreography is another sore spot. Sure, it's stylized and meant to wow the audience, but there's only so much suspension of disbelief I can muster. Characters perform feats that defy not just physics but basic common sense, making it hard to stay invested in what should have been high-stakes moments. It's child logic at its peak, designed more for spectacle than for storytelling.
By the time the credits rolled, I couldn't help but feel drained. Yes, there are some fleeting moments of fun and style, but they're buried under a mountain of mediocrity. The film had all the resources to be something more, but instead, it settles for being a loud, flashy, and hollow experience. If you're in the mood for mindless entertainment, you might enjoy it, but don't expect it to stay with you after the show is over.
