Bacardi and Coke Bonanza (1981)
** (out of 4)
William Grefe (DEATH CURSE OF TARTU) pretty much retired from filmmaking and started making over two dozen shorts for the Bacardi company. This one here was from 1981 and takes place at a rodeo where a cowboy talks about how Bacardi and Coca-Cola go perfectly together. We then get him "selling" the product by talking about how people are going to start seeing ads in popular magazines as well as on billboards. This is the second Bacardi short I've seen from Grefe and this one here really wasn't all that memorable. This one here was basically just selling the product and there really wasn't anything here that would make me want to buy it. Fans of Grefe might be interested but others can stay clear.
