When The Hollywood Reporter first notified the protagonist of this bio-short that his story was awarded 1st place in their Defining Moment Contest and chosen by THR and Principal to be filmed, he got an email with the heading "Congratulations..." Thinking it was spam, he deleted it. Only when he was sent a second and last winning notification a few days later he replied, with only a few minutes to spare before THR would choose the 2nd runner up to receive the award...
