Fast Charlie

Stumbled on this movie and it was awesome! The movie stars Pierce Brosnan as Charlie Swift, a hitman working for a mob in Biloxi. He's tasked with taking out a guy but things get messy, leading him to team up with Rollo's ex-wife, Marcie, played by Morena Baccarin. Their dynamic is really fun to watch as they navigate the chaos.

Their characters' interactions are engaging and often funny.

James Caan plays Stan, Charlie's boss who's dealing with Alzheimer's. Caan's performance is touching and adds depth to the story. The fact he died shortly after this movie was made makes you wonder, how much was real and how much was acting? The care Charlie shows for Stan makes his character more relatable.

The film balances action and humor perfectly. The thrilling scenes keep you on the edge of your seat, while the dry, witty humor makes you laugh. The clever dialogue and situations remind me of Elmore Leonard's work.
