      The film was shot entirely on location at the (now closed) Great White Horse Hotel in Ipswich, UK, which dates back at least as far as the 17th century. The quote at the beginning of the film which begins "Never was such labyrinths..." is taken from Charles Dickens' novel 'The Pickwick Papers', and is directly referencing the hotel.
    • Versiones alternativas
      The UK release was cut, the distributor requested cuts in order to obtain their preferred classification. Images of strong injury detail were removed in order to obtain a 12A classification. An uncut 18 classification was available.

    If you grew up loving Hammer House of Horror/Tales of the Unexpected you'll love it!

    Typically British supernatural film vibe in the humour and the touches of pathos throughout.

    Not scary per se but thoroughly entertaining throughout.

    Fantastic acting too.

    If you don't like it, you're probably American! 😉😊
