The movie shows the story of a man living under a false identity, who is on the run from the police after he is accused of a crime which he didn't commit. What happens when he finds refuge in a small housing colony where he meets a woman named Padma who's in an abusive relationship with her husband? The first half of the film is quite long and is easy to understand. However the second half unfolds in a rather mysterious and offbeat manner. The film has a natural touch to it at many places which grabs the viewer's attention. The rustic setting of the film, especially the old houses in Chitradurga gives an aesthetic appeal. The screenplay is impressive with some non-linear style narrative which will also bewilder the viewer. The film has an unusual climax and ends in an ambiguous way! The cinematography and the music is mesmerising and is sure to win over your heart! Haripriya's acting as Padma is brilliant! Her graceful and seductive acting will have you spellbound! Yashwant Shetty in the lead role has given his best performance! Chaithra Kotoor's acting as a simple happy-go-lucky girl is also worth mentioning! Seasoned actors like Suchendra Prasad and Achyuth Kumar have acted wonderfully as usual. Although there are some shortcomings at some places in the film, it outweighs them by a sizeable margin and shines brightly as an artistically crafted offbeat mystery drama! All in all you can watch this film if you're a fan of experimental cinema or if you're looking for something different from the usual set of films hitting up the screens in Sandalwood!
