The Death Pledge

I know this gets said a lot, but Death Pledge legitimately is in the running for one of the worst movies ever made. It defies a normal review, instead, here are just a few lowlights to expect should you decide to punish yourself:

• 10 minutes consist of a podcast type show host rambling on and on setting up the story... sort of

• At least an hour is the pledges introducing themselves and then telling scary stories to each other. One story is about how some of them have flat a$$es. Occasionally the blurry footage has comic book drawings thrown over it illustrating their stories.

• occasionally inter-spliced is the demon making a girl dig a hole while he screams a chant they probably thought sounded really cool but hearing a slobbery "zaraaaaaa" 10 times becomes extremely annoying.

• another 10 minutes of the podcaster wrapping things up but actually having no clue what actually occurred.

Oh and there's a bonus few minutes post credits that serve as extra filler.

This is honestly one of the poorest, laziest, most inept excuses for a movie. Not one ounce of care went into this and it shows. The only positive I can say at all is the comic drawings are actually well done, but are so haphazardly thrown on screen it just looks lazy.
