Call Me Skinny

The uncredited 'star" of the picture. referred to on-screen as "Skinny" was jockey in training, Roger Conlon. who met with a fatal accident three years after this film. Conlon was thrown from his horse, "Let's Go. Jr." when it stumbled and fell while running last in a nine-horse field at Cranwood Race Track in Cleveland, Ohio. While the horse was uninjured, Conlon never regained consciousness and succumbed to head and internal injuries shortly before midnight on his 22nd birthday, at Marymount Hospital on Wednesday, September 19th, 1956.
