The Mouse in the Bread is a brilliantly written, small budget gem. While the sound is a bit grainy, the movie is a heartfelt look into the life of someone just outside the cusp of society.

Lili is 17, brilliant in many ways, but with the mentality of a little girl. People don't take her seriously due to her undiagnosed autism and inability to conform to societal norms. Lili, however, has a far more complex understanding of life, however, as showcased during a family crisis.
