Based off a short story written by my Uncle, Sharp Corner adds some extra to the story and changes it around a little while also keeping some of the original elements. Josh (Ben Foster) along with his wife Rachel (Cobie Smulders) and his son Max (William Kosovic) move into a new home close to a corner of a road where cars zoom by and occasionally crash. This is discovered the night they settle in and a teen crashes his car freaking them out. With every soul who falls victim to a car crash, Josh learns more about them and wants to desperately save anyone in trouble, since authorities can't come fast enough. From monitoring the road, to learning first aid tactics, his desire for a safer street interferes with his work and personal life becoming too much of a habit.
Normally, I wouldn't review something that had a family member involved, but I have to say despite the changes, I'm glad it wasn't changed too much to be too different from the original.
