Trang Quynh

As a Vietnamese and a movie fan the comedy genre in Vietnam movies always a pain in my heart because no matter how hard I try I can't genuinely laugh without feeling pity and forced at the movie and the cast so with movie like Trang Quynh a slapstick comedy flick makes for Tet holiday usually a hard pass for me and to see how low it score on IMDb only makes me never ever want to see it until today when I decided to watch it to testing the limits of my patience and surprise, surprise I enjoy it way more than I ever thought. Quynh a very famous historical character is a part of many Vietnamese children including me because of the comic book series written by author Kim Khanh and this movie although don't follow correctly the life of Quynh as a person still very charming and funny to watch with likable and colorful characters. The movie ironically crowns as the biggest disappointment of the cinema industry of Vietnam in early 2019 by many people but I think they just hate having fun.
