Bringing Something to the Character

Harold Lloyd sketched his character out well in this short film. He embodied all the shortcomings of a bloke who is unlucky in love, the perceived imperfections of an outsider, and sculpted them all beautifully in this two-reeler. Clearly he was at the top of his game at this stage in his career.
