Still actual these days.

Even if this was shot in 1973, this subject of a big box supermarket giving a hard time to the small grocer is still in effect these days.

A quaint grocer with his 4 employees, sees the upcoming of a giant supermarket built nearby. Little by little, the grocer is losing money to this behemoth of a food store, but the said employees try the best they can to keep their jobs and also give a hard time to the supermarket.

A well told story. One of the actors in a small role, Roger Carel, is a master of dubbing movies in France. Mostly known to be the voice of Asterix the Gaul, many Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters and other American actors like Jack Lemmon or Burgess Meredith in the 60s.

This one is to watch, and don't take some of the scenes seriously...
