Thomas y sus amigos

Thomas, Edward, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy, Toby, Annie, Clarabel, and the Fat Controller (known in the American dubs as Sir Topham Hatt) are the only characters who appear in every season of the original series and "Big World! Big Adventures!." Bertie and Henrietta appear in every season of the original series.

[UK version only] During the fifth season, Michael Angelis (the narrator) is not credited in the opening titles.

When the first two series of "Thomas the Tank Engine" were broadcast in the UK, some of the episodes were linked with a montage of each engine being surrounded by a crowd, with a name plate in front of them.
