Die letzte Rettung is for the main character in this film, but there is no rescue for the viewer from this nonentity. Papa does it with daughter-in-law, mama knows, son does not care, son kidnaps father, daughter-in-law leaves, everyone suspects everyone etc. etc. How someone could have come up with such a preposterous script and persuaded the production company to shoot it, is beyond me. And not only that: neither cast or director show any interest, they seem to be sleep-walking all through the film. While the kidnap takes place, the viewer has already fallen asleep dreaming about better films. A dreadful film.
