I watched the Get Along Gang for the first time when I was in France. It was entitled "La Joyeuse Ribambelle." Later, I came to know that the cartoon show was produced in the U.S. With well designed characters, I took fancy of them. The Get Along Gang taught a good lesson which attempt to recognize the importance of friendship and team work over individualism through 27 episodes. I still remember that Catchum Crocodile and his henchman, Leland Lizard try to spoil the joy of the gangs, but their good corporation prevails over their shenanigans. My further research made me found that many good cartoons, such as The Care Bears, My Little Pony, The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin, and The Shirt-Tales, were created in 80s in the U.S. while the Japanese animations were on the rise. Still I miss The Get Along Gang and other U.S. cartoons of the 80s. I recently heard that The Get Along Gang would be reproduced into 3D animation after twenty years of separation.
