Mindless is a word that often comes to mind (if you still have one) after immersing yourself in porn films, or now videos. HOT SISTERS is a mess, hardly worth deconstructing or reconstructing but I will accept the challenge.
Brenda and Fred plan a party for Amy & Bob. Film's gimmick is that Brenda and Amy are the real-life twins, the Sloans, so there is some serious in-joking going on here.
Two couples, one outside on the grass, start humping, with standard cross-cutting between the pairs for variety. Bearded guy Fred gets to hump his sister-in-law Amy while Bob is taking a shower and then away at the unemployment office. Not to fear, when Bob gets home he gets to service Amy.
That sex scene is cross-cut with an orgy, while non-stop song track randomly plays hits like "Eleanor Rigby" and "Lady Marmalade". When Amy confesses her infidelity, Bob doesn't get mad but we listen to Isaac Hayes' Theme from "Shaft" -could this actually be a pun?
The orgy moves indoors and Bob asks Amy "Are you sure this is what you want?" He reluctantly joins in and afterward they are on the same page about swinging and free love.
A far better example of the real-life incest the Sloan sisters could provide is seen in Joe Sarno's TIGRESSES. HOT SISTERS has a come-on title but fails to deliver.
