Seaside Woman

I discovered this Oscar Grillo animated short of a song sung by Linda McCartney and Wings on YouTube when someone commented of this in the comments section of the animated short Sunbeam in the Cartoon Brew blog. It depicts the adventures of a young girl who lives in a beach house having fun at sea with her dog and some fishes as her mom washes clothes and her dad works catching fish (or maybe sailing, I'm not sure which). Grillo uses a sort of painting-come-to-life abstract quality that pleases the eye and matches the music perfectly. Nice to hear Linda's vocals as well as hubby Paul's little asides later in the song. Well deserved of the couple of the awards this short won. So in summation, if you're looking for another fine animated rendering of a pop song, check Seaside Woman on YouTube. P.S.
