The convent. El convento del diablo

A group of college kids decide to explore a condemned convent building. It just so happens that a bloody massacre occurred in this very building some 40 years prior. Not surprisingly, the young scholars simply must wander its accursed halls in order to party more effectively.

Uh oh!

A gaggle of Satanists is already on the premises and up to no good! Soon, demons appear and ruin everyone's good time. The rest of the night is a fight for survival, complete with spraying blood and goo.

Enter Christine (Adrienne Barbeau), who plays a key role in the history of this eeevil place. She's also quite well-armed, sporting a machete and a cache of guns. With the single surviving coed in tow, Christine fires innumerable bullets and chops off many demon heads. She also tears around on a motorcycle.

If a splendiferous gore-tacular with a silly sense of humor sounds tasty to you, then THE CONVENT will fill your meat wagon.

On a personal note: I want Christine's prayer, during the explosive climax, chiseled on my tombstone!...
