Clearly shot during the transition from softcore porn to explicit sex films, The Experiment is a crudely made movie of zero interest. Something Weird revived it on Vol. 12 of its Dragon Art Theatre XXX series, but the double feature contained therein is strictly soft.

Nominal excuse for simulated sex scenes has Terri as a free-loving girl who picks up people and takes them home for sex. That's it, with dialog limited to the "oh, baby" gibberish of porn. The cast is unattractive and unconvincing in the pretend sex scenes. For fellatio the camera always discreetly pulls away to frame the action off-screen, and there are no money shots, so I inferred that this one was shot softcore rather than edited down for the same result.

Most recognizable cast members are Gerard Broulard and John Keith, regulars in the "softies" era whose careers petered out (pun intended) when Gresham's Law took hold and all-sex soft porn lost its market. The female cast is unattractive.
