The NFL appeared to be new and hip in 1994 when it's NFC package went from CBS to FOX, and the network's show sure backed the new image up well. "Fox NFL Sunday" was always live from Hollywood, CA of all places and the hip basic network always would use the flashy diagrams and graphics and colorful diagrams on it's show to make the viewer like to a new take on the NFL. And the crew was unmatched it started with the host the informative and intelligent James Brown along with ex-players the down home Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long and ex-cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson. The show was always fun, interesting with talk chalk and I loved the on the field segment, Bradshaw gives the show laughs and Long knows how to report the NFL's trenches well. Changes have happened on the program just like on the field and in life the experiences come and go, some were good and some not so good you either liked them or loved them.
Over the years, Johnson left to coach again, but returned after it was a failure with the Miami Dolphins, also Chris Collinsworth has came and gone both from the studio and broadcast booth. Overall the biggest change was James Brown leaving for CBS, and now head play by play man Joe Buck also hosts the show, but the bad part is it's always on the road at the stadium of the game he's calling! No more studio FOX wise up this is not college football. Still the high points continue to be game reporting, and interviews which are done just fine by the beautiful Pam Oliver, and let's not forget one of FOX's best segments the one reason many non-football fans tuned in and that was the weather with the sexy Jillian Barberie. This show has slipped some due to losses but still overall good FOX just needs to put it back in the studio.
