It's sad that so much work takes so long to get to the screen, but here it finally is. So many self-financed films like this just fade away and are never seen. Often because they are made by beginners who don't take advantage of the freedom financing your own movie brings. They are too afraid to bring a unique take on the genre they're exploring. That was the case here.
This film however had a relatively substantial budget it seems, so there really is no excuse for it not to have been improved from when I saw it's preview. I'm hoping they re-shot it. When I saw the film I found the acting was irritatingly amateurish and the cinematography TV-ish. Now it has been released I hope it won't be awful, which I why I have given it a two.
Why? Because the premise was great. When you see it in the cinema or on the shelf at your video store take a peek. It must have really improved to have finally got a release.
