I really enjoyed this episode of this (usually) fantastic series. Charlotte de Turckheim was great in the episode called Murder in Dunkirk (or Meurtres à Dunkerque), so I knew she'd be great here. Bravo for having older women in strong and intelligent leads!
I have seen Nicholas Gob in other roles and never took to him, but he was great here. The two leads challenged each other well and switched effortlessly into working together. It was a good balance.
Other than that, you had your local legend, beautiful scenery and a wonderful supporting cast, with enough "ups" to make it a good evening's entertainment.
I usually watch this show on a streaming service called Hoopla, however this episode wasn't carried. I bought a DVD set called Murder In... Set 3 (not to be confused with Season 3) from Target with most of the omitted episodes. It was cheaper than even Amazon.
Hoopla carries many of the MhZ network shows and is a service you get through your public library and watch on a Roku or on your computer. Ask at your library if they have the service. Another fantastic show I watched on Hoopla was Captain Marleau. Please ignore the goofy art they put on the show title!
