A Slow Burn Lovecraftian Horror

Central California is a beautiful place, reminiscent of a home spun midwestern eden. The perfect place to get away and collect yourself. But wander around, open that door that was previously locked and find what's keeping this garden alive.

Parsed along the way in dream sequences and foreshadowing, Getaways best moments are towards the end, when all secrets are revealed and the gravity of what's really going on tips into full tilt boogie.

Clearly a lo-budge/no-budge/ no-time venture. Getaway punches above its weight and works fine on the small screen. A good pre show screener before whatever horror your about to watch for the night.
