The Prayer

Went to see this movie with my family here in Oklahoma city OKC STAND UP There was a showing of this movie at an event here in June. My youngest son He's 6 yrs oldwas like "Mommy is Tom okay?" when that part happened in the movie and I was just stunned that he was that into the movie! I watched a few times on streaming too. It's real importance here with just young black men in this country and I just had to highlight the "Bring back my son Alive" line in the movie. It hits a vulnerable place for black mothers of young black men. We worry daily for our sons safety and that they make it back home. The family in this movie is like looking into a mirror and I know it's the same for others when watching too. Amazing movie and it's one I will revisit a lot. Thanks for bringing this movie to OKC!
