Ajay(jeevan), chandhu(unni) and vineesh(krishnachandran) are three bachelors living together who have a pet cat named simba. Simba is causing trouble for both them and their neighbours. Ajay loves simba but finds difficult to take care of him due to his workload. Chandhu doesn't bother to take care of him despite liking him and vineesh is absolutely annoyed with him.
One day when ajay's colleague reji(anu) comes to their home to collect some documents,he sees simba and likes him. Ajay with a heavy heart gives simba to reji. After giving simba, chandhu who is a struggling actor gets a call from film production controller(arjun) for in need for simba after seeing his photo uploaded by chandhu. Vineesh who gets interested with the offfer urges chandhu to talk to ajay and bring simba back.
When ajay and chandhu go to reji's house to ask simba back, they find that reji's bedridden dad(Sabareesh) moved his hand after seeing simba and their doctor chakrapani(kiran) suggests simba to stay with them for dad's further progress. Rest of the sketch is whether ajay and friends get back simba or not.
Performance wise, anu shines as reji in one emotional scene. Unni Matthews got a very important role where he is in the sketch throughout for the first time and he did well. Jeevan perfectly captured his helplessness of taking care of his pet. Krishnachandran looks young and kiran was funny in a brief role.
Star lacks the fun factor of karikku sketches. A story which could be presented within 20-30 minutes got dragged to 40 minutes. Only the last act evoked some laughs. On the whole, the actors performances saved its weak writing.
