A story about surrogates against reality. Well crafte, inspired acted, the portrait of Jack, a not very happy man, rejected by the loved one , becoming at a party , victim of a medic looking for test an experimental treatment.

The result - short illusions and , after their end, agitation.

The last pill seems put end to the experiment and representing return to reality.

But the things are not so simple.

The beautiful work of Harrison Lubel represents the basic virtue of this film with few so familiar ingredients, the woman in red being the most accesible.
