It is real easy to define it as a beautiful film. or touching. or impressive . or inspired support for reflection. in fact, it is more. a splendid cinematography. good performances. perfect atmosphere. and a post-apocalyptic film escaping from the ordinary frames. first- for the science to transform the viewer in one of characters. the second - for the force of each detail. not the last - for the message. bitter, sure. but, in strange way, ironic. because you feel each emotion of David. and the gestures of Claire are not so far by your image to survive , near a relative, in crisis period. but another fact gives a special status to "Day 1000". the delicacy. the delicacy of intentions and gestures and confesions and secrets and need of the other and the deep taste of loneliness. it is one of films who transforms the perspective about small ordinary things. and its cold chill remains after its end for a time. as warning. as experience. or, just, as answer to deep fears.
