While the story revolves around the important subject of prescription drug abuse and how addiction can destroy the family unit, I found the script a little too dramatic and the directorial execution to be sub par and amateur at best. The footage was clearly generated on a DSLR of some kind, and the fact that I can identify this isn't a good thing. It means I wasn't sucked into the story. I don't see any real reason to having the film in black and white, seems like a cop out from someone who didn't want to invest in a professional color grade. The only positive aspect of this was the ending. Bad story, bad characters, technically inferior but the ending, somehow, stands alone as worth the one required star.
