The movie is seven stories inter-connected by both character and topics such as technology, millennial / gen-z anxiety and crime, in most cases gruesome murders. It's extremely difficult to describe the genre of this movie. Director said he wanted to make it feel not like a horror but more like a comedy drama or black comedy. This is a perfect description of how it feels watching this piece. It's a black comedy with social commentary but without preaching. Instead the focus is on fun and emotion: either through suspense or absurd humour. I would say it's a mix of V/H/S horror anothology series with a mood of "A night on Earth".
Movie is a collection of stories unrestrained by timeline. However putting story together is not a aim here. Instead you should enjoy the ride. Some characters who are focus on one story become a minor character in another story. The final chapter is the longest and a little bit more self-reflecting. We are giving up for a brief moment no-breaks roller-coaster ride in order to dive deeper into main character... only to return to the madness in the final moments. It is deeply satisfying how each story tie to another through characters and events without spoon-feeding it to the viewer.
I think the story summary does extreme disservice to the movie. If things like a tinder killer, strange adventurous of a peeping tom and some body chopping for a dessert sound up your alley, feel free to grab this one. You won't be disappointed. Never before two hours went for me so fast.
