3 episodes in and it just feels empty. The characters lack depth, seriousness and reason. There's no real dialog with any meaning. It just feels like they're talking just to say things. Whenever a character gets into some sort of trouble it feels like there's zero stakes and just randomly resolves itself. The knights acting is t great, but maybe it's just the writing that doesn't help his cause.
Being a fan of the games, it is entertaining to watch and i hope the story can expand for the better, to fulfil its potential but the tone just doesn't seem to fit.
I'll watch all of the episodes as it is an enjoyable experience... just hope it gets better.

Every episode of this series is just full of new and insane events. Maximus trying to get a handle on his body armor. The Ghoul's quips (and intriguing backstory). Lucy's near-demented perkiness at even the most dire proceedings. New abominations around every corner.
But now the theme is starting to emerge. Even in this demented and seemingly hopeless world, there are characters like Lucy and Maximus who try to be better than the darkness that surrounds them. There will be some who may not rise above the moral challenge, such as Lucy's "loser" brother Norm, who may emerge as the most interesting character of all.

How in the world did this series get rated 8.6 ???
First of all: to create a good drama, there has to be some sort of compelling challenge that propels the hero's (in this case heroine's) journey. THAT'S completely missing.
In this episode, the filmmakers distastefully introduce a character who describes his prior job in a way that you had better not be eating when that scene occurs. The Hollywood fascination with inserting bathroom bodily functions into the script is beyond me. Call me old fashioned.
I don't like ANY of these characters. So this will be the last episode I watch. The heroine is saccharine beyond belief. The cowboy is not a bad guy but he goes out of his way to be mean. It comes off as a strain. The vault dwellers are freakishly politically correct. The fake Knight is emotionally immature. The only character that's honest is a coward. I TRULY HATE ALL OF THESE CHARACTERS.
Some of the acting was pretty good. But the guy playing the knight is terrible. Unlike the previous episode, there were no veteran character actors to infuse the story with depth and credibility.
Based on the ratings, I kept waiting for this series to take off. But it hasn't. So I'm outta here.

The annoying music from 1940s public domain continues. It is not Dean Martin, or Frank Sinatra, or anybody you ever heard of. It is the worst unkown music of the 1940s.
Along comes bug-eyed girl (Ella Purnell), and she gets tired of dragging around that incredibly boring and abysmally whiny Michael Emerson (from Person of Interest and Evil). He has a face for radio. Soon no face at all.
Did it ever occur to anyone to just crack open his coconut and look around for the chip inside his skull? It is a lot easier to carry around a USB drive than an entire stinking and rotting human skull. Even for a TV series based on a video game, this show is dumb.

What a fascinating episode, to say the least. The hunt continues now not for the target but for its head. When the episode opens, after the showdown between Lucy, Maximus, The Ghoul and an injured Dr. Wilson, it is Lucy that we see on the hunt to bring the head to the next step in her journey to find and free her father. I love the juxtaposition between this clean, honest, caring Lucy against the dirt, manipulation and evil of the surface and its dwellers. After a run in with an unexpected character, Lucy loses her most prized possession and is out of luck with The Ghoul finds her and captures her. She is out of water, which interestingly, becomes a common theme this episode.
Maximus continues to encounter his own set of problems on the surface as he realizes there is communication with home base and a new scribe is sent to him. Between his recent flashbacks and the interaction with Thaddeus, we see him struggle with his natural course of redemption and having a heart for humankind. Although his new orders from the Brotherhood, I believe, will make it easier for him to fall on one side of that struggle more so than the of the other.
We also begin to see the imminent challenges Vault Dwellers are now facing since Lucy opened the portal and left for the surface. With her brother advocating for a more logical plan in the face of their doomed outlook.
The race is on! Where will the head land next? We shall see.

¿Sabías que...?
- CuriosidadesWhen the vault dwellers are having a meeting on how to deal with the prisoners, they are interrupted by another dweller who claims that their water chip has been destroyed. This is a reference to the main plot device of Fallout (1997), where the main protagonist is tasked by his own vault, Vault 13, with exploring the wasteland to find a replacement for their water chip, which had broken.
- PifiasThe Gulper is seen to have eaten Lucy's left boot, as the left foot is seen bare. Later when the Gulper has regurgitated, the boot picked up by Maximus is for the right foot, not the left.
- Citas
The Ghoul: Yeah, well, the Wasteland's got its own golden rule.
Lucy MacLean: Oh? What's that?
The Ghoul: Thou shalt get sidetracked by bullshit every goddamn time.
