Reseña destacada
Some offbeat casting elevates this well-acted Nica Noelle romantic drama for Sweetheart video. It's not about sororities at all, despite the monicker for a series that understandably never caught on.
Premise is that college student Sinn Sage needs to find a new place to live, and is offered a room at Adriana Sephora's home, which she shares with other co-eds and calls a sorority. But it is not affiliated with any Greek organization, and there's no initiation or rituals or membership, so this becomes merely a Roommates saga despite its title.
Several of the girls are cast from the ranks of the alt-porn movement, unusual for Nica but effective here. Dylan Ryan and Drew Deveaux are butch types who immediately take a disliking to the newcomer in their midst, with dramatic confrontations and even the threat of violence erupting.
On the other hand, it's love at first sight for Sinn and Sovereign Syre, and the two SS ladies make a memorably romantic couple in the sack. Nica favors Sinn over all other actresses, assigning her three of the four sex scenes in this feature.
All hands, including Skin Diamond in a separate segment at the end after Sinn moves out, give arousing Sapphic performances, a testament to the casting of women who specialize in girl/girl on-screen couplings.
NOTE: The keywords loaded into IMDb before I wrote this initial review for the website and added keywords of my own are highly misleading - dozens of references to transsexual this and transsexual that. Watching the feature itself one gets zero transsexual content, mention or allusions - this is a movie about lesbians, and the fact that one cast member, Drew Deveaux, is a transgender actress who was born male, is irrelevant to the show. Had Drew retained her male genitals, as nearly all TS female performers in the Adult industry do, then this might have been relevant and the keywords not misleading, or if Nica had played up Drew's character's background as paralleling the history of the real-life actress. To put it another way, if a viewer of Adult content is seeking out TS subject matter, "Lesbian Sorority" does not apply. And in fact Nica Noelle later on became a trailblazer of serious TS features for two labels she founded, the defunct Transromantic and the current highly successful Transsensual.
