This is a very well and professionally produced show. Some things might seem a bit odd for the international audiences, but they are true to the Finnish method of doing things according to our nation-wide security philosophy. It may understandably be a bit hard to get a grasp in countries that don't have a Defense Force (Army, Air & Navy), relying on conscript and reserve personnel. In addition of the regular professional officers, our wartime mobilized troop count is 280,000 persons, for starters, with a secondary back reserve force of ~1 Million citizens should things go really awry. Not bad at all for a country of 5,6 Million. This of course means there would be a _lot_ of guns aimed at the Eastern border (now a Nato border, remind you) if need be.
In recent polls, the willingness of adult citizens to protect homeland in case of an armed attack is very high, I think over 80 %. That's also a very high number compared to any EU or even JEF country.
The FDF supported this TV show in a great way. Almost everything you see on-screen are real and current, up-to-date and active military assets - the Hornets for example are the real thing, and the inwading foreign parachuters are actually our own Special Forces. Of course, being a TV show this is dramatized on a character level to a certain amount - but so is Top Gun: Maverick.
In short, The Conflict depicts quite well The Finnish concept of doing and managing things in practice, should the S**t ever hit the Fan. Finland is well prepared, and if needed, armed to teeth. Other countries could learn some valuable things. We didn't ever let our guard down, while many others downscaled their military capabilities after the "Cold War ended". Well, in Putler's own words, it never ended.
Finland doesn't want to especially brag about this. We've just learned our lessons the hard way, ever since the Winter War of 1939.
