Stolen Dough

I was really pleased to see this film when I was in Houston, Texas at the Houston International Film Festival. I had no idea the background of Anthony Mongiello and his lawsuit against Pizza Hut. This film was very compelling, like a deep, underworld crime drama. I was happy I came across this accidentally during Houston International Film Festival large schedule. On the final day, when they run the films again, I brought my friend Erik to see the film with me, and he loved it. At first we were expecting this film to be sort of a comedy documentary but it couldn't have been further from that. It felt more like a who done it crime drama, and you could clearly see the influence of Italian American film directors like Scorsese in Stolen Dough opening minute. It's the best crime film I ve seen all year. An emotional and gripping film.
