Bruce Lee is a drug Lord, running his network all the way from China to Bengaluru. Annachi (Rangayana Raghu) and Suleman (Gopalkrishna Deshpande) are rivals. There is an assassin Mallika (Sharmila Mandre) both of them fear, after Bruce Lee. A shipment of the drug, stuffed in a famous talcum powder brand goes missing in a mix-up. The ones to get their hands on those drugs are Surya (Diganth), his lover Nithya (Dhanya Ramkumar) and his roommate Karan (Anirudh Acharya). As the rookies try to cut the deal themselves, they aren't aware whom they are dealing with nor the real worth of those drugs. What happens when Bruce Lee gets into the mix, while the bunch is trying to make big money, forms rest of the story.
With TVF involved as co-producers, one could relate to their template of humor early on. Very first thing, what doesn't work here is the humor itself as the narrative is largely bland and the humor is not hilarious enough to lift the dull moments. It takes it's own time to settle in, but the characters remain entertaining partly. It's easy to follow the story and the director takes enough time to establish all the main characters while keeping the mystery behind Bruce Lee. It is the third act that goes entirely bonkers and it has the entertainment in the right dose which the film promised. Sadly, it is only those last 20mins that stand out while one wishes the screenplay was more even to do justice to that final act. Powder mostly relies on the characters and their comic timing, whereas a tighter screenplay could've helped it a lot more. Watch it only for it's final act.
