Wasted opportunity to present a real and historic account of science fiction. Instead it glosses over the real history of the genre and focuses on popular TV shows and mainstream movies and how they might be versions of things written before and not so original after all!

Somehow, Mark Gattis thinks that has-been actors raving about past glories is the history of science fiction. There's little to no substance here as we are wheeled from clip to clip and opinion to opinion. There's no devotion to comics or books, which is where all the best sci-fi comes from. There's no 'history' and no respect to any of the ideas that gave birth to science fiction on the big and small screens.

It's a simplistic and almost unwatchable trashing of anything older than color TV and some remarkable simpering idolization of all the blockbusters which turned science fiction into mushy trash.

If you like watching famous people offer their pretentious opinions and can stomach clips from programs that are also view-able on YouTube without the annoying clutter, then you can probably sit through this rubbish.

If you are a serious student of science fiction and a genuine fan of the genre then you'll just find this incredibly annoying.
