I love this Chinese Drama "The Legend of Female General". The story is so interesting and exciting, the casts are so good and wow, how they execute of their characters. Zhou Ye plays He Yan who has risen in the ranks posing as her ill brother and is a celebrated General. She ends up enlisting in an army led by the cold and mistrusting General Xiao Jue played by Lei Cheng and has ambitions to gain her reputation and take revenge. The two are suspicious of each other but over time realise they have helped each other in the past and must join forces to protect the country and fight against the dark forces at court out for their own gain. Very enjoyable romantic action drama with a good story and great cast.
