Super good series, interesting period, but everything is destroyed with the unfitting music. Why did they do this?

Would have been a 10/10 without the strange music between the scenes. The setting is 1958, when people had good taste, so hip hop was not invented yet, and the whole setting is good and feels nice.

I really loved the characters, the actors, the sets, cinematography, and wardrobe design.

The interpersonal drama is well done, despite there being a few too many clichés in certain spots.

The boys' club misogyny was well written, and it was enough to make someone who witnessed it elsewhere during that same time period cringe.

The only element that ruined this for me, and kept me from hitting an 8-9 stars was the rap/metal/punk music montages used as transitions between certain scenes. It left me distracted from the beauty of the moment, and left wondering, "WHY?" If a second season is in the works, I hope the producers opt to 'un-hip' the soundtrack, and perhaps use music from that era to keep it real.

This series is a good watch and was very enjoyable, however, the hip hop music is annoying and distracting. I get that the creators were trying to be creative and bring a modern feel to the story telling but it really misses the mark Eve detracts from the series. Otherwise, I enjoyed it and am hoping for a Season 2.

This is a story about a part of Stockholm that my mother worked in as a teenager. All the newspapers were situated here. It was the heart of Stockholm.

It is also the story of the police force and the political decision to have women educated and getting into the occupation. And the resistance from their make colleges to have to work alongside women.

I've seen a lot of critics giving praise to this show, but for some reason people are being hung up on the music. I guess they missed Peaky Blinders, The Great, Bridgerton, house of guinness, Harlots, Dickinson... I can go on. Lots of epoch series use current time music - it's to connect with the audience and it DOES IT WELL. Not very many of us who watch netflix walk around and listen to music from the 1800s, the 1929s, 1950s etc, and so we can't relate. But when you put our time's music along with an era we're not as familiar with, it creates connection and creates a tie between the time the series is set in, and how we react to it.
