After all the filming, it was finally time on Sunday: the premiere of the moving film Onbesproken Woorden. This feature film was shown on the big screen for the first time that day in the Kinepolis cinema in Spijkenisse.
Before the film started, the full hall with the guests, the actors and other people involved in the cinema toasted the end result of the film. Danny Snoek, creator and director of the film, is proud of the cast and satisfied with the result. His passion for the profession is reflected in both the film and in his speech. This moving film shows the story of a girl named Quinty with a passion for music, who fights cancer. She draws strength from writing music. By addressing this theme in the film, the audience was visibly moved. At several moments, emotional spectators wiped away a tear.
Images in Spijkenisse
What is special about this film is that it was largely filmed in Spijkenisse. This way, residents of this municipality could recognize various images: from the Boekenberg library and the men on the Krom to the popular mill and the Spijkenisserbrug. The director was inspired by the music of singer Dana van Bergen. When Snoek heard the lyrics of the songs from the album of the same name Onbesproken Woorden, he immediately knew that he wanted to make a film about it. 'I get emotional when I think about how great the team was, the film really came about through the efforts of all of us', said an emotional Snoek.
