An opressive old man. His obedient wife, his daughter and his son. And, each day, a room in which the grandson becomes himself. The revelation. And the decision. Like many Spanish films, portrait of deep roots. Simple and powerful, dramatic and bitter. But , like many films from the same area, the theme is fundamental - the freedome and the courage to assume it.
