Simple Review:
I feel this episode is starting to lose me. I don’t think it’s very comparable to the others, even if it has great moments, such as the fight scene at the end. The art style is well done and the Colin the Computer jokes are good, but I think this episode lost itself in itself, in a way. - DirecciónJoseph PellingBecky SloanBaker TerryElencoJames Stevenson BrettonSam CampbellJoss CarterWhen Red Guy, Yellow Guy and Duck meet adorable twins who point out that they shouldn't be living together because they're not related, the guys begin to question their relationship.8.9/10
Simple Review:
This episode is very hard for me to rate. The ending is amazing and well done, but aside from that the episode is just okay. Seeing Roy again made me so happy and amazed, but I don’t really remember anything outside of that. - DirecciónJoseph PellingBecky SloanBaker TerryElencoBecky SloanJoseph PellingBaker TerryRed Guy, Yellow Guy and Duck have an important day of 'nothing' booked in. But Duck is outraged. He demands to have something to do. And that something turns out to be something called a Job.(original version) 8.8/10
Simple Review:
I think what we have from the original pilot episode could’ve been very good. If they’d just kept the idea of this episode and transferred it into the spot of ‘Friendship’, I actually would’ve liked the series better. This episode’s killer “Security Song” and of course, “Wakey Wakey”, make it more memorable than ‘Friendship’. But my main issue is that it doesn’t really feel like Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared anymore, which drags it to the bottom of the list.
(new version) 9.0/10
Simple Review:
I love the ‘Jobs’ episode. It feels so perfect for a re-introduction into Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared. It fixed every problem from the “Wakey Wakey” pilot, including a smaller cast of characters and a more grounded story with barriers. My only issue is that it doesn’t really set up the rest of the show, and that’s it. - DirecciónJoseph PellingBecky SloanElencoBaker TerryBecky SloanJoseph PellingAfter Duck upsets Yellow Guy, a butterfly (or a little baby pigeon?) named Shrignold attempts to help him feel better by showing him the wonders of love.8.9/10
Simple Review:
Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared 3 is the most forgettable of the original series. It lacks purpose among the other amazing episodes. I still really enjoy it, even if its message was a lot more straight-forward and easier to understand. My main issue with this episode is that the formula is predictable at this point: we have a normal children’s TV show episode with some random creepy things spread across its runtime, and then eventually, at the end, everything derails, before going back to normal. DHMIS 4 fixed this, but it just really makes this episode seem normal compared to the others. - DirecciónJoseph PellingBecky SloanElencoBaker TerryBecky SloanRoyngttWith Red Guy gone, Yellow Guy and Duck are feeling that something is wrong when a group of food starts teaching misinformation about dieting and a mysterious phone call keeps interrupting their "lesson".9.2/10
