The "Conservatoire gang", also called "Bébel's gang", is a group of French actors , almost all students of the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique in Paris , formed in the early 1950s. This informal troupe brings together some of the biggest names in French theatre and cinema, including, among the most famous, Jean-Paul Belmondo ( aka Bébel), Annie Girardot, Françoise Fabian, Guy Bedos, Bruno Cremer, Jean-Pierre Marielle, Jean-Pierre Mocky, Claude Rich, Jean Rochefort, Philippe Noiret, etc.
