Christoph Walter Thoma Gomez (Walter Thoma), is a Mexican German sound designer/composer based in Los Angeles.
Started his career as a music producer in Mexico City, for several years he worked and collaborated with artists all over the world. After years of experience he decided to move to the US, and he soon started working with renowned multi-platinum producer Andrew Lane to work on a variety of projects, including several releases through major labels and motion pictures, as well as working with well-known musical artists.
After working music production for so long, eventually Walter decided to focus on sound design and composing music for visual media.
This decision would lead him to work on very exciting projects, and even land him several nominations in his field, including a nomination in the prestigious festival "International Sound And Film Music Festival" for best original score in the short film category.
Simultaneously, After years of hard work, Walter was given the opportunity to take part in the "Academy Gold Rising" production track for sound program where he learned and honed his skills from the most renowned professionals in the world including: Teri E Dorman, Gary C Bourgeois, Bill Kaplan, and Thomas Giordano.
Walter now is working as a freelance sound designer/composer in Los Angeles, helping filmmaker's visions come to life through the power of storytelling through sound.
