Marco Matteucci was born in Terni, in 1996. While attending a course in Architecture in his high-school years, he starts a personal journey that leads him to the foundation of Paperplane Studio, a multimedia production group. Here, he has the chance to direct "Rifiorirai" (let. "You'll flourish again"), a short movie about femminicidio that won the first prize in "Settembre in Corto". He also realized several projects for the city of Terni. Before even finishing high-school, he starts working as an assistant for Luigi Cammarota, documentarista and director of Geo&Geo, one of the most important tv-shows of Rai 3. He then assisted the troupe of Carlo Lucarelli's Profondo Nero (let. "Deep Black"). Later on, he worked on the set of the movie "La mia famiglia a soqquadro" (let. "My messed up family"), directed by Max Nardari and produced by Reset Production. He then wrote and directed "Dai valore alla tua sicurezza" (let. "Value your safety"), social campaign against work-related injuries, and "Gocce d'acqua" (let. "Drops of water"), a short movie on the identity of women. As of today, he's attending a course in Letters and Philosophy at La Sapienza and he keeps on going with his many collaborations
