Regarding what he calls his "Sharon Stone moment" at the beginning of
the film "Foucault Who?", in which he urinates on screen: "When I first
read the script, I thought, 'I hope they don't expect me to actually
pee on camera!' Director Jed Bell said no, that he didn't plan to shoot
it that way. But it was the last scene we shot -- and by the time we
got to it, I realized that the tone of the film would be immediately
established if I did. Jed agreed. So I loaded up on liquids, and didn't
go to the bathroom all day. Jed closed the set to essential personnel,
but I still had a terrible time getting it to happen! There must be a
10-minute outtake out there somewhere of me standing there, waiting for
it to happen."
