Anne Mueller is a Vietnamese-Canadian alumni from the University of Alberta with a degree in Education, and a major in the Dramatic Arts. During her studies, Anne was selected to attend an internship with CBC Canada, which developed her love for writing, interviewing and collaborating with artists. Anne's directorial debut was a children's educational television series titled, Cooking with Kyssara, which premiered on Telus Optik TV for three seasons (2021-2023). The series won several awards in the film festival circuit, including Best Family Short, Best Cinematography and Audience Choice Award.
In 2024, Anne collaborated with the JUNO-nominated singer / songwriter, Tyler Shaw. Tyler helped to create an original film score for the documentary, The Artist: A Creative Journey. Narrated by Andrew Phung, the compelling documentary focuses on the transformative power of the creative arts on one's well-being, and the connections created within the community.
Anne continues to write, direct and produce socially-conscience and uplifting films through her production company, Misty Forest Films.
